
Sony Cart Analysis
Working agency-side, I provided Sony with weekly ecommerce reports over a six month period, tracking cart falloff between product conversion stages. Using Google Analytics, I consistently tracked the percentage of overall site users who progressed to a lower funnel stage, from initial product category clicks all the way to a completed purchase. This data revealed tangible UX insights which were provided to the Sony team for their consideration.

The Takeaway:
I suggested cleaning up the mobile and tablet layout of the billing page across all product categories, to provide a more streamlined experience that would discourage site bounces and funnel falloff. This data was taken into consideration and may be utilized in the future at the time of a complete site overhaul.
